James Young Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Young (Marietta, Georgia), who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James David Young and Beverly Jean Young (Simmons); and his sisters, Dawn Marie Reed (Young), Candace Elaine Young, Sherii Lynn Thrift (Young) and Sabra Ellison (Young).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Maria Young (Lanzi).
When COVID came and James began to telework, the latest bird, Snowy, became James' "work buddy.".
