He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Burns of Roanoke, AL, Jeannie, Bo Boring of Perry, FL, Crissy Queen and Jack Byrd of Dallas, GA; and his siblings, Ronnie Benton of California and Darlene Benton of Alabama. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Community Cemetery.
