He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Vinson of Marietta and Laura Engshun (Michael) of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Leanne, Kayla, Andrew and Jeanetta; his great grandchildren, Jazmyn, James, Keenan, Steve and Erik; and his sister-in-law Betty Morgan (Doug).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to "Kids at Heart" at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
