It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Joan Gillespie (Marietta, Georgia), born in Royston, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Harris Gillespie (Clifford); and her brother Brian Keith Gillespie. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Keheley Frye; her grandsons, Jake Frye of Statesboro, GA and Riley Frye of Portland, OR.; and her siblings, Billie Taylor (Danny), Jackse Gillespie and Gayle "Honey" Gillespie. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 5 grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060).
