Gregory Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Smith of Marietta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ed, Jessie Voris of Geff, Herb and Lida Smith of Evansville; his uncle Dan Voris of Olney; and his aunt Karen Kramer of Evansville.
He is survived by: his parents, Ken Smith (Dottie) of Norcross and Mary Alice Voris Smith of Marietta; his siblings, Chris Smith (Inga) of Johns Creek and Kelley Oliver of Villa Rica; his nieces, Savanna, Isabella Oliver, Simone and Olivia Smith; his nephew Ayden Pendrak; his cousins, Jimmy, Donna Taylor, Drew, Debbie Kramer of Evansville, Andrew and Georgia Voris of Chicago; and his close friends, Renee and Alex Westmorland.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southern Cremations & Funerals - Marietta (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Southern Cremations and Funerals (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Southern Cremations & Funerals - Marietta (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cobb County Humane Society and to Barefoot Ranch, a horse rescue farm in Canton, Ga.
