She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Askea. She is survived by: her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Lynn Askea of Marietta; her daughters, Sara M. Harris of Marietta, Pam E. (Dan Duncan) and Virginia; and her sisters, Mary Tarrant of Dallas and Joyce Cox of Dallas. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
