He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Samuel Aaron Wilkinson and Ruth Ensminger Wilkinson. He is survived by: his wife Levonia "Lee" Wilkinson; his children, Gene David Wilkinson, Jr., Dean Alan Wilkinson and Lyndia Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Katlynn Wilkinson, Patrick H. Wilkinson and Heather Wilkinson.
