Florence Fleming Corley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Fleming Corley of Marietta, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cornelius Fleming and Sarah Virginia Sibley Fleming. She is survived by: her husband James Weaver Corley, Jr.; her children, Florence Hart Corley Johnson (Jim), James Weaver Corley III (Carolyn), Anne Corley Herbert (Jack), Sarah Virginia Corley (Neil Peterson) and William Thomas Corley; and her grandchildren, Alice Johnson DeSimone (Justin), Charles Weldon Johnson (Andrea), James Weaver Corley IV, Carolyn Cater Corley Cosgrove (Brian), Emily Hart Herbert, Eva Caroline Peterson and Daniel Hale Peterson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
