He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carter; his children, David Carter (Katherine) of Sacramento, CA, Christine Carter of Marietta, GA and Laura Bryant (Andrew) of Peachtree Corners, GA; his siblings, Robert Carter (Kathryn), Margaret McQuilkin, Peter Carter (Cheryl), Anne O'Shea and Paul Carter; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Carter, Miles Bryant, Alexander Carter and Emily Bryant. He is also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews.
