He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifford and Anna Lee Mahan; and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Claire and Emily; his wife Marcelle Branch; his daughter Marianna; his son-in-law Hiram Carden; his grandson-in-law Claire Carden; and his siblings, Robert and Carol. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marietta Community Church or Samaritan's Purse in David's honor.
