With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bennie Frank Holmes of Marietta, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 76. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Thomas Holmes; his children, Victor Holmes, Thomas Crone (Kelley), James Vincent (Amber), Lynn Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence (Patrick); his siblings, Gary Holmes and Judy Post; and his grandchildren, Chase Stewart, Bailey Holmes and Bella Crone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064).
