He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Cantrell and Lois Cantrell; his daughter Kimberly Ann Cantrell; and his siblings, Helen Cantrell, Norman Cantrell, Glenn Cantrell, James Cantrell and Arch Cantrell, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Thurmond Cantrell; his children, Georginna, Danny Bruce, Terrell, Jessica Cantrell and Jasper; and his granddaughters, Caroline Cantrell and Sarah Childers.
