William Holmes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Holmes of Mansfield, Georgia, who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Katie Belle Holmes; his son Robert Earl Holmes (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Adam Scarborough and Patricia Hay. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Ruth Holmes; and his children, Lora Ann Haney (Ernest) and LaTracy Mason (Harley Rivers). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren along with a host of close friends.
Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed. There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, and the use of a mask is now required in Newton County.
