Thomas Raines Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Raines of Mansfield, Georgia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raines and Mary Hughes Raines; his wife Brenda; and his brother Jimmy of Parkersburg. He is survived by: his daughters, Melayne Venable of Virginia Beach and Michele McCoy of Charlottesville; and his sister Mary Ann Law-Smith of Juneau. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed. There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.
