We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 82, Russell Wayne Cobb of Mansfield, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra C. Cobb; his siblings, Mary Ruth Rutledge, Bobby and James Cobb; his grandchild Brooke Ann Johnson; and his parents, Ira C. Cobb and Ollie Bell Cobb.
He is survived by: his brother Joe Cobb; his children, David Cobb, Renee Sorrells, Niki Barber (Robert) and Becky Moore (Dennis "Scoot"); his grandchildren, Cayla Sorrells of David, Rory Barber (Mari), Tyler Moss, Noah Faubli, Ireland Moore and Luke Faubli; and his great grandchildren, Mason Finch, Shelby Sorrells, Auri Sorrells and Caroline Barber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Rocky Creek Baptist Church (190 Rocky Creek Rd, Mansfield, GA 30055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the same location.
