He was predeceased by: his parents, James West and Elizabeth West; his siblings, Charlene West, Joe and James West; his wife Sue West; his son Michael West Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kelly West; his daughter Kim Hudson; his son-in-law Todd Hudson; his grandchildren, Stewart West (Christina), Kaylee Searcy (Mac), Joshua Hudson (Haley), Kelsy Stone (Bubba) and Tori Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Lexi, Avery Stone, Wyatt and Cole Hudson.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Floyd.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
