He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durham Byers, Sr. and Lucy Byers (Gragg); his wife Annie Laura Byers; his daughter Marie Jones; and his siblings, Betty Miller, Wayne Byers and Charles Byers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Ann Mullins (Tony) of Locust Grove and Jill Jones of Mansfield; and his grandchildren, Robin, R. J., Casey, Michael, Brandi, John, Niki, Deven and Alexis.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Life Praise Center (8111 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington, GA 30014).
