She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Robert Griffin and Georgia Carter Griffin; her husband Marlyon Cecil; her son Scott Steedley; and her siblings, Doris Aldrich, Winton Griffin, Frank Griffin, Dave Griffin and Justin Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Steedley; her stepchildren, Charlotte Cardona (Frankie) of Miami and Rev. Chris Boyd (Laretta) of Hortense; her grandchildren, Kimberly Grissom, Tiffany Boyd, Hillary Boyd, Kenneth Cardona, Edgar Cardona (Yara), A. J. Solis and Francisco Samir Cardona (Sahira); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Bastian, Alex Bastian, Angel Gonzalez, Jacqueline Cardona, Enzo Cardona and Lucianna Cardona; her siblings, Ben Griffin (Robin) of Waycross, Talmadge Griffin (Carol) of Blackshear, Becky Bolden of Blackshear, Mary Frances Griffin of Waycross and Sharon Bateson of Homerville; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Griffin of Waycross and Janet Griffin of Waycross. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
