He was predeceased by: his parents, Choochie Robert Byrd and Barbara Thrift Byrd; and his sister Jeanette Miller. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Herrin (J. R.) and Janice Miller (late Sammy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
