She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Pierce Cox and Lucy Louise Fitchett Cox; her husband Rev. Fred J. Morgan; and her siblings, Eleanor Bennett, Mary Eveline Murray, Elmer Wilson "Rooney" Cox, Sr., Elbert F. Cox and Johnny Earl Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gayle Morgan of Manor and Rev. Bruce A. Morgan (Missy) of Folkston; her grandchildren, Ashlea Smith (Kevin), Kaitlyn Lairsey (Stion) and Jacob Morgan; her great grandchildren, Waylon Smith and Mia Lairsey; and her sisters, Eyvonne Hannah (Maurice) of Waycross, Elaine Lupo of Manor and Eula Mae Adams (Dennis) of Quitman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy (4245 Camp Branch Rd, Manor, GA 31550).
