We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2025, at the age of 81, Deloris Calhoun of Manassas, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy T. Calhoun and Mae Bell Calhoun of Manassas. She is survived by: her son Jack LaNorris Calhoun; her siblings, Dorothy McClain, Jerolene Jones, Jimmie Lee Perkins and Lee Roy Calhoun; her grandsons, Virgil Stephan Moody and Keenan Lavaughn Calhoun; her children, Valerie Moody (Virgil), LaDetra Calhoun and Ivea Calhoun of Claxton, Georgia; her grandchildren, Christina Calhoun of Claxton, Georgia, Renee Calhoun of Claxton, Georgia, Towanda Moody of Claxton, Georgia, Dakari Calhoun of Claxton, Georgia and Malaika Calhoun of Claxton, Georgia; and her sister Annie Lee Stovall of Chicago, Illinois.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harpers Funeral Home (125 Broad St, Claxton, GA 30417). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
