It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Alan Thrasher Sr. (Madison, Georgia), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thrasher Sr. (Frank) and Clyde Thrasher; and his siblings, Francis Thrasher Jr., George Thrasher, Raymond Thrasher, Mildred Epps, Kaye Ervin, Helen Long and Evelyn Thrasher.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Cheryl Thrasher; his brother Roger Thrasher; and his children, Cindy Smith (Luke) of Madison, Roy Thrasher Jr. (Ginger) of Madison, Russell Thrasher (Kristy) of Madison and Ronald Thrasher of Madison. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a set of twin great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home Chapel (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
