He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thrasher Sr. (Frank) and Clyde Thrasher; and his siblings, Francis Thrasher Jr., George Thrasher, Raymond Thrasher, Mildred Epps, Kaye Ervin, Helen Long and Evelyn Thrasher.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Cheryl Thrasher; his brother Roger Thrasher; and his children, Cindy Smith (Luke) of Madison, Roy Thrasher Jr. (Ginger) of Madison, Russell Thrasher (Kristy) of Madison and Ronald Thrasher of Madison. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a set of twin great-grandsons.
