He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dlugosz and Mary Dmuahowska Dlugosz; and his siblings, Frank, Jr. and Lynette. He is survived by: his wife Helga Winkler Dlugosz; his stepchildren, Elaine (Stephen Buice) and Erich (Sharon McArthur); his daughter Kim (Dennis Cheatham); his grandchildren, Christina (Chase Bruce), Jared, Alisa McArthur, Alyx and McKenzie Cheatham; and his great grandchildren, Kesleigh, Rowan, Carson, Decklan, Alie, Keirstyn, Cody, Bailey, Asa and Roy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morgan County Humane Society.
