It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olena Eaton (Madison, Georgia), who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Jackson and Minnie Moss Jackson; her husband Verner Lee Eaton; her sons, Charles Eaton, Carl Eaton, David Eaton and Harold Shelton; and her daughters-in-law, Diane Eaton and Pennie Eaton.
She is survived by: her children, Lamar Eaton (Nancy Addy), Randy (Peggy Eaton), Mike (Vivian Eaton), Charlotte (Clay Odom) and Verner Lee (Gail Eaton); and her daughters-in-law, Rhonda Eaton of Eatonton and Kathy Shelton of Monroe. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home Chapel (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
