He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Charles and Carolyn McCay Maddox; his wife Sharon Mackey; his children, Jace Maddox (Jenni), Davis Maddox (Sallie) and Alaina Warbington (James); his grandchildren, Emmie, Elissa, Easton, Karoline, Aubree, JC, JD, Mack and Hadley; and his siblings, Kay Cox and Frank Maddox.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Madison Baptist Church.
