Jimmy L. Vance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy L. Vance (Madison, Georgia), who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Vance and Hoyt Vance; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Sledge, Ernestine Lucille Vance Clay, Ruth Vance Morley, Joseph Wylie Vance and Margaret Ann Vance Cannon.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Hoyt Vance, Jr. (Becky) and Martha Sue Vance Gowen (Tommy); his grandchildren, Kendall Vance, Kacy Vance, Cameron Vance and Rilee Vance; his great grandchildren, Paxton Vance, Iansley Wright and Hayzen Wright; and his stepgrandsons, Brandon Peters (Brittany), Nicholas Peters (Taylor) and Christopher Peters (Mary). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home Chapel (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org), a cause dear to Jimmy.
