It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerrell E. Sheppard of Madison, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Andrew and Janie Catherine Shepherd; and his brother-in-law George Hanes. He is survived by: his children, Connie Slate, Brian, Jerrie Tice, Patrick and Gregory Alan Sheppard; his grandchildren, Andrew Ruark (Shannon), Emily O'Neal (Justin), Rebecca McGraw (Matt), Mackinlee and Caroline (Davis Slate); his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Evan, Charlotte, Milo, Ava and Ila; his sister Dorothy Hanes of Madison; and his close friend Suellen Sheppard. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
