She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Laughlin and Catherine Laughlin (Boppel); her husband John Forney Rowan of Atlanta, Georgia.; her daughter Mary Carroll Rowan; her brothers, Charles Laughlin and Thomas Laughlin; and her brother-in-law Joseph Flynn.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Norris (Patrick), John Rowan (Virginia) and Hannah "Nan" Rowan; her siblings, Elizabeth Laughlin Flynn and John Laughlin; and her grandchildren, Zachary Kittrell, John Cosper Kittrell, Katie Kittrell, Avery Rowan, Jack Rowan and William "Liam" Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Hannah Rowan to St. James Catholic Church for the Altar Flower Fund.
