He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannette Nichols Wheaton and George Henry Wheaton, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Jo Beth Bartlett Wheaton; his children, Mark Henry Wheaton (Ellen), Shelly Wheaton Flanagin (Jimmy), Robin Wheaton Couch and Shannon Wheaton Kirley (Tim); his grandchild Ansley Wheaton Thykeson (Alex); his children, Emma Wheaton Lemonie (Tyler), Will Wheaton, Trey Flanafin, Wheaton Flanagin, Andrew Couch (Morgan), Sam Couch (Meagan), Sarah Couch, Elizabeth Couch, Connor Kirley, McCay Kirley and Noelle Kirley; and his great grandchildren, Brock, Brogen Couch, Sam and Cole Thykeson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Madison (296 S Main St, Madison, GA 30650).
