She is survived by: her husband Robert Bates; and her brother Malcome E. Lane of Macon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home Chapel (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Madison City Cemetery West Central.
