He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Slaughter and Estelle Brown Slaughter; his daughters, Miranda Slaughter and Cresta Slaughter Boswell; and his sister Suzanne Slaughter Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Healey; his son Heath Slaughter (Lisa); his brothers, Frank Slaughter, Dan Slaughter, Jerry Slaughter, Sam Slaughter and David Slaughter; his grandchildren, Anna Lynn, Victoria Boswell, Rob Boswell, Ashlyn Slaughter, Kaely Yearwood, Ryan Yearwood, Ethan Slaughter and Lola Slaughter; and his great grandchild Rhett Yearwood. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
