He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Spearman and Custer Crawford; his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Ann and Hal (Madison).
He is survived by: his granddaughter Nancy; his sons, Rob (Christina), David and Kemp (Carol); and his grandchildren, Sam (Priscila), Laney, Abigail, Ian and Marten. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Morgan County or the Madison First United Methodist Church.
