He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lamar Ewing Sr. and Audrey Hughes Ewing; and his brother Lamar Ewing, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dutton Ewing; his daughter Robin Ewing Brown; his son-in-law Matthew Clay Brown; his granddaughter Wren Kellan Brown; his daughter Amanda Ewing Scoggins; his son-in-law Timothy Woodliff Scoggins; his grandson William Nathanael Scoggins; his son Billy Joseph Ewing; his sister Winnell Freeman; his brother-in-law Glenn Freeman; his brothers, Larry Ewing, Barry Ewing and Don Ewing; and his sister-in-law Cathy Ewing. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
