He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Asbury Whisnant and Ernestine Whisnant (Cannon); his sons, William Ray and Mark Allen; his siblings, Cecil, Billy and Inez Campbell; his wife Joyce Linda Whisnant (Chadwick); his daughters, Faye Rife (Rich) and Laura McNutt (Matt); his grandchildren, Legend Hurst (Chris), Melissa Howard (Davie), Deanna Upchurch (Seth), Cheyenne Whisnant, Kaylee Chapman (AJ), Caden McNutt and Brady McNutt; and also, Amber Matthews (Johnny), Ashley Oldham (Chris) and Dylan Pulliam (Eva).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home Chapel (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
