She was predeceased by: her parents, William Peyton Overman, Jr. and Mildred Louise "Pete" Forehand Overman; and her brothers, William "Bill" P. Overman, III (Connie) and Robert "Bobby" Overman (Judy). She is survived by: her husband Richard O. Payne; her children, Jen Parker Hammonds (Patrick) and Brandi Parker Mannah; her stepson Chris Payne; and her grandchildren, Justin Parker Hammonds, Jeremy Peyton Hammonds and Cam Payne.
A reception was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home (1670 Atlanta Hwy #2078, Madison, GA 30650).
