He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Thompson and Daphne McIntosh; his wife Isona "Cutie" Simms-Thompson; and his children, Wilton Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Richard Thompson and Elisabeth Conner. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, and many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home Chapel (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
