It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Hughes of Macon, Georgia, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolly Beamon of Paterson, NJ and Lee Hughes of Macon, GA.; and his sister Wanda Beamon. He is survived by: his sister Monica Jones (Pettiway); his brother-in-law Wayne Jones; his niece Tiffany Jones of Clifton, NJ; his daughter Shamiah Williamson; his granddaughter Azaleah Williamson of Colorado Springs, CO; his son Rajire Hughes (Kewanda Lemon) of Paterson, NJ; the mothers of children, Robin Maultrie and Quashima Gentles; and his homeboys, Sharon and Earl. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
