He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Fisher. He is survived by: his father Stanley Fisher; his children, Jesse Fisher (Emily) and Shawn Fisher (Colleen); and his brother Daveyjohn Fisher (Nancy). He is also survived by four grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family greatly appreciates the love and care shown to Stanley by Georgia War Veterans Home and respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to Georgia War Veterans Resident Benefits Fund at GWVH Activities Department, 2249 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
