It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Salome Barnes Harris of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sophie Barnes and Ernest V. Barnes; her brother Ernest V. Barnes, Jr.; and her nephews, Bruce Barnes and Mark Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Leigh Harris of Gilbert; her nephew Joel Barnes; and her niece Velvet Lynn Barnes of Jacksonville, Florida..
