With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Dennis Chitwood of Macon, Georgia, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Chitwood and Emma Malone Chitwood. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Edwards Chitwood; his children, Michael David Chitwood (Andrea Bratzler) of Lawton, Jessica Lee Hankins (Zachary) of Redding and Rebecca Lynn Chitwood of Watertown; his grandchildren, Huttser Seth Naquin and Wesley Van Hankins; his close friend Monte Steele, II; and his pet Dusty Chitwood.
