It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meg Benoit of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Claude Glawson, Sr. and Etta Monsees Glawson; her husband Gene Benoit; her daughter Brigitte Benoit; and her sisters, Claudine Hairston and Glenice Wright.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ryan Taylor Thomas of Cartersville, Georgia and Memori Grace Benoit Thomas of Cartersville, Georgia; her brother William Claude "Buddy" Glawson, Jr. of Macon; her sister-in-law Gwenn Glawson; and her caregivers, Virginia Williams, Benita Lollis, Elaine Vinson and Meg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
