With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marie Harris of Macon, Georgia, whose life came to an end on December 15, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steelie Monroe Graham and Annie Bell Willingham; her husband Samuel Jackson "S. J." Harris; her children, Marcus Daniel Harris, James Samuel Harris and Nancy Sue Howard; and her siblings, James Monroe Graham and Patricia Graham McCarthy.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Harris Grayson; her sisters, Debbie Hunnicutt and Loretta Walker; and her niece Patricia Touhy (Dylanda "Honey" Young). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and eight great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (5455 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you wish, to make donations in Ms. Marie's honor to the Gideons International or Pine Pointe Hospice.
