He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hasty and Angela Hasty; his brother Alan Milledge Hasty; his aunts, Phyllis Bulloch (Irving), Bonita Morrison (Stan) and June Farist (James); and his uncle Bob Hasty (Phyllis).
He is survived by: his sister Emily Elizabeth Brantley (Gregory Steven) of Macon, Georgia; his nieces, Jenna Lynn Brantley, Summer Cheyenne Foskey and Emily Lauren Brantley; his uncle Mick Anderson (Margaret Ann) of Macon, Georgia; and his aunt Laurie Anderson (David Robinson).
