She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Nieman and Elma Elizabeth Hurst Nieman; and her brothers, Harry Nieman and Jim Nieman. She is survived by: her husband David Wessing of Macon; her children, Jeremiah Wessing of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth Brajkovich (Diane) of Winchester, Virginia and Peter Wessing (Dionicio Romo Reyes) of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jacob Wessing, Isabella Wessing and Brienza Barone; her brothers, Orlin Nieman (Dorothy) of Winter Haven and Charles Nieman (Tammy Baughman) of Joanna; and her siblings-in-law, Sheila Thomas (Gregory) of Caroga Lake and Michael Wessing (Cindy) of Rome.
A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center (765 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (830 Poplar St, Macon, GA 31201).
