She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Speller and Louise Johnson Bourque; her husband Ralph Stanley Elrod; and her sister Bernice Bussey. She is survived by: her children, Ralph Elrod, Jr., Judy Elrod and Debroah Herndon; and her brother Allen Speller (James King). She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the South View Cemetery.
