We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2023, at the age of 81, John Wayne Cook of Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Cook and Mildred Cook; and his son Andrew Cook. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cook (McBride); his children, Debbie Cook Pope (John), Sharon Cook Brown (Marvin) of Crossville, TN, David Cook (Leigh), Wendy Culverhouse (Rodney) and Wesleyan Armour-Cook (Nathan) of Aspen, CO.; his brother Steve Cook (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, Lauren Pope, Taylor Pope, Michelle Cook Nolan, Michael Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Sean Eisman, Abigail Sinascalco (John) and Hunter Culverhouse. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
