She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie Jean "Susie" Basley (Georgia) of Macon and Johnny Basley; her husband Carlos Prince; and her nephew Larry Basby. She is survived by: her siblings, Sherlyn Jackson of Savannah and Reverend Willie Basley of Cochran, Georgia.; her cousins, James C. Ashley, Josh Wimberly III, Sharon Jackson and Eugene Chapman; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Morris, Sandra Morris-Smith, Yasmin Jones, Bift Morris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. and Amoy Morris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.; her caregivers, Reverend Izell Stephens (Evenda) of Soperton and Reverend Jarvis Basby (Antonia) of Atlanta; her close friend Patricia Gregg; and also Jerry Dennard. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Old Marion Baptist Church (5393 Bullard Rd, Dry Branch, GA 31020).
