We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2021, at the age of 81, James Cone Sr. of Macon, Georgia, born in Greensboro, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cone and Annie Cone; and his brothers, George Cone, Joe Cone, Doug Cone, Harry Cone, Jack Cone and Gus Cone.
He is survived by: his wife Ida K. Cone; his children, Jake Cone (Dawn), Rhonda Martin (Rick) and Tracie Gunnell; his grandchildren, Ashley Cone (Levi), Taylor Harris (Kaitlyn), Mitchell Harris, Wes Cone (Kasey), Ronny Mclendon (Hunter), Michael Martin and Jill Martin; and his great grandchildren, Trystin Brummett, Judd Mclendon, Kaisen Harris, Collins Cone and Dillinger Harris.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210 or to St. Jude Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
