It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Brooks Wells of Macon, Georgia, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Theo Wells and Annie Young Wells; his former wife Lynda McCook Wells; and his son Steven Craig Wells. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Kafka Wells; his sons, Keith Wells (Dixie), Phil Wells (Cristi) and Jeff Wells; his stepdaughters, Sharon Andrews (Derrick) and Michelle Edwards; his siblings, Opal Pridgen (Junior), Junior Wells (Colleen), Betty Jean Braswell (Earl), JoAnn Griffin and Danny Wells (Denise); and also Chris Dotson.

Flowers are welcomed or donations may be made to Porterfield Baptist Church in Macon.
