With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Comer Braun of Macon, Georgia, born in Gray, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Comer and Florine Comer Haralson; her husband Rolf W. Braun; her sisters, Velma Watts and Reba Bowen; her half-sister Edna Warren; and her stepbrother Robert Haralson.

She is survived by : her children, Lori Roberts Garrett (Ricky) of Macon and Michael Roberts (Rhonda) of Macon; her grandchildren, Katie Ridley (Ryan) of Macon, Stacy Horn (Brien) of Birmingham and Cole Garrett (Maggie) of Athens, Georgia; her brother Richard Comer (Mary) of Macon; and her stepsister Estelle Herndon (Robert) of Macon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ingleside Baptist Church, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
